yogaSOMATICS is a grounded and experiential field of EMBODIMENT & CREATIVE EXPRESSION practices

In our embodiment practices you will experience soft and mindful yogaSOMATICS asana, free movement, myofascial unwinding, natural breathing, somatic bodywork/conscious touch.  We include inner exercises for the energy body and meditative sitting practice

To explore and understand the emotions, we work with creative expression and understanding through drawing (art therapy), following the messages of your dreams.

All of the practices help to connect to your heart and awaken empathy, loving-kindness and inner balance

Ateeka

Yoga and somatics teacher and bodyworker, Ateekashares a unique perspective on yoga, movement and wellness, with a focus on womens health.

Drawing from more than 25 years of in-depth study and practice in traditional yoga and modern somatic movement practices, her open-hearted teaching style to both group and individual sessions encourages the innate intelligence of the body bio-system to emerge in the unique way of each individual.

She is the founder of the healing methods yogaSOMATICS and SOMATIC BODYWORK.

Ateeka teaches in English and occasionally Italian.

 

Ola Borud

Ola Borud is an art therapist , mindfulness teacher and self-development coach dedicated to helping others see themselves clearly and live life with empathy and personal power.

Meditation and self development has been an integral part of Ola’s life for over 25 years.  His enthusiasm for mindfulness meditation and other body-mind practices comes from his own discoveries with contemplative and therapeutic practices, including a daily sitting and long retreat meditation practice that has been inspired and informed by the teachings he has received from Vaekstcenter in Denmark and Jon Kabat-Zinn’s MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) training.  

He holds a degree in Economics from University of San Francisco and is a certified Art Therapist trained by SATTVA Kunstterapeutisk Institutt.

Ola teaches in English and Norwegian
